Polymer Characterization and Analysis:

Skilled in using a wide range of analytical and characterization techniques such as FTIR, NMR, SEM, TEM, XRD, DSC, and TGA to explore and interpret the relationship between microscopic structures and macroscopic properties of materials.

Performance Evaluation and Testing of Flame-Retardant Fabrics:

Well-versed in major domestic and international flame-retardant standards such as ISO, ASTM, NFPA, and UL. Expert in the principles and practical applications of key testing methods including Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI), vertical flame tests, and Heat Release Rate (HRR), enabling precise assessment of flame-retardant grades and fabric performance.

Functional Coating and Finishing Technologies:

Extensive experience in functional finishing for fabrics, including water repellency, oil resistance, stain resistance, antibacterial, and antistatic properties. Particularly skilled in integrating multifunctionality with flame-retardancy for synergistic performance enhancements.

Major Achievements and Contributions

Synthesis and Application of Novel Flame Retardants:

Successfully developed a series of halogen-free flame-retardant fabrics that meet UL94 V-0 and NFPA 701 standards. These innovations address the environmental concerns of traditional flame retardants and fill a significant gap in China’s domestic capabilities. The products have been widely adopted in high-speed rail interiors and luxury hotel bedding.

Innovation in Multifunctional Integrated Fabrics:

Developed a high-performance outdoor tent fabric that combines flame-retardant, waterproof, and antibacterial properties. This fabric received high praise at international defense industry exhibitions and has secured bulk orders.

Patents and Publications:

Holds eight national invention patents, including “A Preparation Method for High-Efficiency Eco-Friendly Phosphorus-Nitrogen Flame Retardant” and “A Multi-Layer Composite Flame-Retardant Fabric for High-Performance Protective Clothing and Its Manufacturing Process.”
Published over 30 academic papers in authoritative journals such as Acta Polymerica Sinica and Materials Science and Engineering, with several indexed by SCI.

Participation in Key National Projects:

Served as a core member in the National Key R&D Program – Industrial Demonstration Project of High-Performance Fire-Resistant Materials, where he was responsible for flame-retardant mechanism research and formulation optimization, making a significant contribution to the successful completion and acceptance of the project.
